Along the way, keep an eye out for other forest residents, including black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and numerous butterfly and bird species. Once you locate the chimps, spend a magical hour observing their behavior—playing, grooming, and feeding in the treetops.
After a hearty lunch at your lodge, enjoy an optional visit to the scenic crater lakes region, where you’ll explore ancient volcanic formations and local communities. For those seeking relaxation, unwind at the lodge with a massage or a dip in a natural crater lake pool.

In the afternoon, head out on a sunset game drive in the Kasenyi sector of the park, home to Uganda kobs, elephants, buffalo, and lions. Your expert guide will help you spot elusive wildlife and interpret the ecosystem. Return to your lodge for a candlelit dinner with panoramic views over the savannah.
